Commerce Street is guaranteed to be rockin' July 16th at the 2nd Annual All-American Burger Fest. In addition to excellent live music, vendors and art, an exciting element on Saturday will be a focus on Mayor Julian Castro verses Commissioner Tommy Adkisson in a burger cook-off at 3 p.m.
Saturday afternoon, at least eight restaurants, schools and individuals will vie in the Bexar County Ultimate Burger Competition to determine who makes the Best Traditional or Most Creative Burger in Bexar County.
In the All-American Hamburger Eating Championships, amateur eaters will vie to see how many they can get down in 10 minutes. So you would like to enter the contest stop by Fatty’s Burgers and More and sign up. Deadline is July 8, 2011.
